Troubleshooting
Common issues and how to resolve them.
Common Errors
"Not enough credits" or generation won't start
Image and 3D generation are credit-billed (1 credit = $0.01).
Solution: Check your balance in Settings → Account and purchase credits if needed. Make sure you're signed in.
"API Key Invalid" (bring-your-own-key providers only)
If you've added your own Gemini, Claude, OpenAI, or z.ai key, the provider rejected it. (Using Hyper 30? You don't need a key — this doesn't apply.)
Solution: Verify the key is correct and has credits available on the provider's dashboard, then re-enter it under Settings → AI Providers.
"Session timed out" after a 3D generation
A cascading error that used to appear when a compressed 3D model (Rodin, Meshy, Hunyuan3D) crashed the viewer.
Solution: Fixed in v0.1.15 — update to the latest version. If it still happens, sign out and back in to refresh your session.
A 3D generation is taking forever
High-quality models (Rodin, Hunyuan3D) and multi-view jobs legitimately take 1–8 minutes. They're usually not stuck.
Solution: Give it time — generation keeps running even if you switch tabs. For faster results, use TripoSR.
MCP connection failed / Studio plugin not loaded
HyperDevs can't talk to Roblox Studio, or the plugin doesn't appear.
Solution: The plugin auto-installs, but Roblox Studio must be restarted to load it. Make sure Studio is open and you're logged in, then use "Test Connection" in Settings → Integration. Restart both apps if needed.
Import & Connection
Model Won't Import to Studio
- ✓ Enable EditableMesh: Turn on the EditableMesh beta feature in Studio (File → Beta Features) — "Send to Game" requires it
- ✓ Check MCP Connection: The Game tab should show "Connected"
- ✓ Verify Studio is Open: Must have a place loaded
- ✓ Check Polygon Count: Very high-poly models may fail — optimize first
- ✓ Fallback — Show in Folder: Use "Show in Folder" or "Copy Path" to reveal the file, then drag it into Studio (File → Import 3D)
