About the Windows SmartScreen warning

When you run the installer, Windows may show a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen. This is expected, and it does not mean the file is malicious.

SmartScreen flags any installer that hasn't yet built up download reputation with Microsoft, and reputation is earned over time and volume. HyperDevs is a small independent project in open beta, so it hasn't reached that threshold. To continue, click More info, then Run anyway.

If you'd rather verify the file first, download it, then scan it with Windows Security or upload it to VirusTotal before running. We'd rather you check than take our word for it.
