Getting Started
Install HyperDevs, sign in, and ship your first asset in minutes.
What is HyperDevs?
HyperDevs is an AI-powered development environment for Roblox game creators. Generate 3D models, animations, textures, and Luau scripts, then import them directly into Roblox Studio — all from one app.
Unlike traditional tools that require Blender, manual rigging, and complex export workflows, HyperDevs automates the entire pipeline from a text description to a game-ready asset. The built-in Hyper 30 model handles chat and generation out of the box, so you can start creating without any API keys of your own.
System Requirements
- ● OS: Windows 10/11 (64-bit, x64 or ARM64) — macOS in progress; the embedded Studio viewport is Windows-only at first
- ● RAM: 8 GB minimum, 16 GB recommended for 3D generation
- ● Storage: ~600 MB free space
- ● Roblox Studio: Latest version, with the EditableMesh beta feature enabled (File → Beta Features)
- ● Internet: Required for generation and the Hyper 30 cloud model (unless running a fully local model via Ollama)
Installation
Download the installer from the download page

Getting Connected
- 1. Launch HyperDevs and sign in with your account
- 2. Sign in with your HyperDevs account (or create one)
- 3. Hyper 30 is ready — start chatting and generating right away. Your credit balance is shown in Settings → Account (1 credit = $0.01; images ~1 credit, 3D models ~10-65 credits depending on model (TripoSR cheapest, Rodin premium))
Optional: bring your own API key
Prefer your own provider? Open Settings → AI Providers, pick Gemini, Claude, OpenAI, or z.ai and paste your key, or choose Ollama to run locally. See the AI Providers guide for details.
🔒 Your keys stay on your computer. Any keys you add are stored locally in encrypted storage. We never see your keys.
Your First Asset
Let's create your first 3D game asset using AI. This workflow takes you from a text description to Roblox Studio in a couple of minutes.
Generate an Image
Click the Image Gen tab in the left sidebar
Pick a model (Flux Schnell is fast; Flux Dev and Flux Pro are sharper) and type a prompt, e.g. "A magical fantasy sword with glowing runes"
Click "Generate" and wait a few seconds
Click "Use for 3D" when you like the result
Convert to 3D
Your image is sent to the 3D generator automatically
Choose a model: TripoSR (fast, under a second), Tripo3D v2.5 or Trellis (balanced), or Rodin / Hunyuan3D (highest quality, ~1 minute)
Click "Generate 3D Model" — generation keeps running even if you switch tabs
Preview your model in the viewer — rotate and inspect it
Optimize for Roblox
Send the model to the Optimize tab to see its polygon count
Roblox limit: ~10K triangles per part
Use a quick preset (1K / 2.5K / 5K / 10K) or "Smart Optimize" to reduce polygons
Import to Roblox Studio
Make sure Roblox Studio is open with a place loaded, and that the EditableMesh beta feature is enabled (File → Beta Features)
Click "Send to Game" in the Optimize tab
Your model appears in Studio as an EditableMesh!
Prefer manual import? Use "Show in Folder" and drag the file into Studio (File → Import 3D)
