About HyperDevs
What it is, who builds it, and how to reach us.
What HyperDevs is
HyperDevs is a Windows desktop app for AI-powered Roblox game development. It generates 3D models, images, animations and Luau scripts and imports them into Roblox Studio in one click through a local MCP bridge with 86 tools. It's free to start with the built-in Hyper 30 model, or bring your own Gemini, Claude, OpenAI, z.ai or Ollama key.
Who builds it
HyperDevs is built by the HyperDevs team — a small independent group, not a studio or a publisher. The first public release shipped in May 2026, and the app has been in continuous development since. Guides and documentation on this site are written and maintained by the same team that builds the app.
We're not affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox Corporation. Roblox and Roblox Studio are trademarks of Roblox Corporation.
How it's built
- A desktop app, not a website. HyperDevs runs locally on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). Your game files, scripts and assets stay on your machine.
- A local MCP bridge. The app talks to Roblox Studio over the Model Context Protocol, exposing 86 tools so the AI can read your real project instead of guessing at it. See our guide to MCP in Roblox Studio.
- Your keys, your device. If you bring your own provider key, it is stored locally in encrypted storage. We never see it.
- Runtime import. Generated meshes and images land in Studio through the EditableMesh and EditableImage APIs.
Status
HyperDevs is in open beta — no invite needed. The current release is v0.1.24. A macOS build is in progress.
